Shoreline trash is ugly and dangerous to wildlife, and shoreline cleanups are a great way for volunteers to make a difference. Come clean the beaches of NK on Sat Sep 20, 2025, 2-4:30 pm!!

We will meet at Compass Rose Beach and divide into small teams to pick up trash at Compass Rose, Spinks, and Blue beaches and record what we find. The data will be included in The Ocean Conservancy’s annual report on marine debris, which is used to campaign for coastal change!

On Saturday October 29th, we will constructing new ramps for the Mill Cove footbridge! The ramps will allow easier access for bicycles and strollers. As a result, we would like to limit the use the bridge this weekend. If you’d like to help, please send an email to lcnk.info@gmail.com. Thank you again for your support of this community project!
